Payment Methods
Coins
When paying with coins at the meter, parking time depends on the value inserted. Accepted coins: ANG 5.00, ANG 1.00, ANG 0.25, and ANG 0.10. After payment, place the printed ticket on your dashboard.
Card
At the meter, select your parking time and pay contactless with the Parking Card. Place the printed ticket on your dashboard. Cards can be purchased from parking agents in the city center using digital payment only; cash is not accepted. The one-time purchase costs ANG 10.00, which includes ANG 7.00 in parking credit. Top-ups start at ANG 5.00, with a maximum of ANG 50.00. Cards can also be ordered by calling 4651047.
App
After installing and registering the app, select the parking meter and enter your desired parking time. Payment is made via an E-wallet, which can be loaded with a credit or debit card. The app uses USD currency, with a minimum top-up of USD 12.00 and a maximum of USD 50.00. No ticket is issued, eliminating the need to visit a parking meter or return to your car.
Enforcement
Parking hours and Tariffs
If parking fees are unpaid or the time has expired, a wheel clamp will be placed on the vehicle. A sticker with instructions will be affixed to the window. To have the clamp removed, call the 24/7 control room at +5999 465 1047. The parking agent will arrive within minutes, and payment can only be made digitally; cash is not accepted. The fee for removal is ANG 25.00.
